In traditional customer-vendor relationships, vendors are not sufficiently incentivized to ensure projects experience long-term, sustainable success. PPPs transform customer-vendor relationships into partnerships where risks and rewards are divided equitably between stakeholders. By better aligning incentives between stakeholders, we safeguard project success.
After the term of the PPP expires, the project is handed over in its entirety to the partner Government. By the end of the project term, local staff are well equipped to sustain the project for many years to come.
